ZHAO Lu (b.1980) was born in Qingdao, Shandong province. Graduated in 2005 from the Academy of Fine Arts, Ludong University, majoring in traditional Chinese painting; and with a master degree from the Academy of Art & Design of Tsinghua University, majoring in oil painting in 2009.
ZHAO was a student of Professor Jiang Yongan姜永安and Professor Xin Dongwang忻東旺.
ZHAO is a distinguished Research Fellow at the Chinese National Academy of Arts since 2014, he is a member of the American Oil Painters Association, distinguished expert/consultant of CCTV micro film channel，member of the SiChuan province Contemporary Art Research Council. ZHAO lives and works in Beijing, China
ZHAO’s works have been collected by institutions, foundations and individuals in China and round the world.
趙露在1980年出生於山東青島。2005年畢業於魯東大學美術學院國畫專業。
在2009年年畢業於清華大學美術學院油畫專業，碩士研究生，師從忻東旺教授。
2014年入職文化部直屬中國藝術研究院，特聘研究員。現為中國藝術研究院特聘研究員，美國油畫家協會會員，CCTV微電影頻道特聘專家顧問，四川省當代藝術研究會委員，居住並工作於北京。
他的作品被多家美術館，博物館，基金會收藏，以及中國，美國，意大利，德國，西班牙，瑞士，日本，澳大利亞，加拿大，香港地區，澳門地區等藏家私人收藏。
