Ringo Ma studied in Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts in 1986. In 1992, Ringo was an art director in Menfond Electronic Art & Computer Design Co. Ltd, and had established an image shop for photo retouching and illustration during that time. He participated at ‘Nei Leung Nin - These Two years’ computer art exhibition in 1995.
Ringo fell in love with photography since 1990. To him, photo-shooting allows him to keep a valuable piece of memory in every dimensions—place, people, time, history, culture… ; photography gives room for him to create, to imagine and to apply his personal perspective on land, people and current happenings. He hopes to share his distinctive angles and momentary beauty from his originality expressing under the lens. Time changes constantly. Distributing images are no longer through book printing but social media channels dominant. No matter how it changes, Ringo thinks that the key to make an awesome artwork still remain unchanged— shooting techniques, hard-work, and patience… sometimes with a bit of “luck” are the fundamental elements for fabulous captures.

馬國榮於1986年就讀於香港正形設計學校。他在萬寬電子藝術與電腦設計公司任職藝術總監，並在1992年開設了攝影公司，提供影像處理及插畫服務。三年後，他參於了「呢兩年」電腦藝術展。
馬氏在1990年開始熱衷於攝影，對他來說，攝影能在不同層面上保留珍貴的回憶，包括地方、人物、時事、歷史、文化…… 攝影給予他空間去創作、想像以及表達他個人對人、地方、事和物的看法。時間不停變遷，影像不能再只依賴書本印刷去傳播，透過網上社交媒體已成為主流傳播途徑。無論世事如何變改，馬國榮認為 創作一幅好作品的關鍵仍然是不會變的 — 攝影技巧、努力、耐性，以及偶然的一點點運氣…… 都是創作好作品不可或缺的基本元素。他希望透過相機鏡頭去分享其獨特的視角與瞬間的美好 !
