LIU Jeng Mui 廖井梅

Born in 1968 in Beijing, China, Liu Cheng Mui graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1988, majoring in Chinese ink painting under Professors Chen Ping and Li Yang from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The same year, she enrolled in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Later, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Surikov State Academy of Fine Arts in Russia, where she obtained a Master's degree in Fine Arts.
Liu is the Director of the Chinese Artists Association. She is the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Union and Vice Chairman of Fine Arts in Guangdong Province. She has taught at the University of Hong Kong and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Her works have been collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art , Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Art Museum, Guanshan Art Gallery, Harbin Art Palace Print Museum, Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum, Shenzhen Art Institute, and the China Printmaking Museum.
廖井梅1968年生於北京,1988年畢業於中央美術學院附中,水墨專修師從央美陳平,李洋。同年考入中央美院,後獲獎學金留學俄國國立蘇裡柯夫美術學院,獲藝術碩士學位。中國美術家協會理事。香港美協副主席。廣東省美術副主席。任教香港大學,香港中文大學專業進修學院。
作品被收藏於香港藝術館、香港文化博物館、江蘇省美術館、浙江省美術館、關山月美術館、哈爾濱藝術宮版畫博物、黑龍江省美術館、深圳畫院、中國版畫博物館。
