Born from a passion for the arts, Danny studied photography at the Newcastle College Of Art and began his career as a black and white printer with the BBC Hulton Picture Library (now Hulton Getty) before establishing Danny Chau Photolabs in London's EC1 'Print Mile' in 1986. And so began a career spanning over three decades, working with clients such as The Royal Family, The National Portrait Gallery, Bob Carlos Clarke, The Guardian, Jane Bown, and David Hockney amongst many others.

When the digital era was in its infancy, Danny was one of the first in the UK to install Epson's large format printers in 1998, and in 2002, Chaudigital was born, fully transitioning to digital fine art printing. Regarded as one of the world's leading fine art printers, in 2006 he relocated to Hong Kong, where his first exhibition was with Chow Yun Fat for Louis Vuitton. His love for photography has never skipped a beat; Danny captures his undimmed fascination with the world through his lens, imbued with that same child-like wonder and curiosity that sparked his passion all those years ago.
