Chan Yin Wan is a Hong Kong artist. Chan was graduated from Hong Kong Art School with a diploma in 2008, and from The Chinese University of Hong Kong – CUSCU – Modern Ink Painting. From 2009, she focused on modern ink paintings, where she developed her own style of modern ink paintings, she paints the nature where it reflects the inner state of mindfulness in her.
Chan came into contact with Buddhism in 2010 and became a Buddhist in 2013. Since 2017, she has been painting Guan Yin, in a way of meditating and seeking refinement for oneself. She incorporates traditional sculptures and statues preserved in the past dynasties, and creates the compassionate and solemn images of Guan Yin in her heart. Chan’s work reveals a journey exploring her inner heart and the rediscovery of tranquility in her own language.
In 2017, Chan’s artwork was selected in Ink Global and became top 500 artists in the world. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Her works were collected by Museums in China and private collectors.
Currently, she serves as Honorary President of the Contemporary Innovative ink Painting Association, Vice Chairman of H.K. New Ink, Treasurer Committee of the Hong Kong Modern Ink Painting Society, member of the Free Style Landscape Painting Association, and member of The Hong Kong Artists Association.
陳燕雲是一個香港藝術家,她於2003年學習西洋畫,並在2008年修畢香港藝術學院藝術文憑課程以及香港中文大學專業進修學院現代水墨課程。2009年,陳氏開始專注現代水墨創作。
2010年,陳氏開始接觸佛法,並在2013年成為佛教徒。在2017年開始,她透過繪畫佛菩薩來作靜心,並淨化內在,借鑑歷代保存下來的傳統雕塑和肖像,創作心目中菩薩慈悲與莊嚴的法相。
2017年,陳氏的作品入選全球水墨畫大展,成為全球500位傑出畫家之一。她曾舉辦個展及參與香港及國內外多個聯展。作品獲石景宜劉紫英伉儷文化藝術館、深圳抱樸軒美術館、天趣當代藝術館及私人收藏。
現為當代創意水墨畫會名譽會長、新水墨會副會長、香港現代水墨畫會財政、山水風畫會會員及香港美協會員。
